This year in Senior School, we are offering a Permaculture Design Certificate. This means our seniors will graduate as designers, with skills for designing anything from a home garden to a social enterprise that are grounded in the Permaculture ethics of people care, earth care and fair share. They are naturals at it so far!
Permaculture is a design system grounded in ethics, ecological literacy and systems thinking. A Permaculture Deign Certificate aims to build the skills and knowledge they need to create the world around them with true consideration for complexity and the big picture, while working at a doable, local scale. It is empowering, fun and broadly applicable.
