Acknowledgement of Country

Warami,

We would like to acknowledge that we live on Country in the Blue Mountains where the black cockatoos call in the rains, and the trees that shape where we live, give us our breath.

We would also like to acknowledge elders both past and present of the Dharug and Gundungurra. The land we live on is unceded.

We give thanks to Mother Earth for nurturing and protecting us; we are all brothers, sisters, and grandchildren of earth, no matter what path you are walking we are all connected to each other through our great mother.

We are all one with the earth who has gone through so much. Mother Earth, we share your pain and also your resilience – that you never give up. If we can live as one with the earth then more kindness will come.

Budyari naad’y unya (it is good that I see you)
